@kmrcCB THANK YOU. I hate it when people complain about Bale's non-emotion as Bruce. That's what Nolan tells him to do, so he does it. It has no bearing on his talent as an actor.

@fishfooood He's the one who loved Olivia. That's why he answers "not today". He was aware that if he answered "I love you" she would've sayd "not today"...so...he told her the truth. In this scene, the one who loves Sarah is actually Fallon, who is taking Jess away...

Wait, so which Borden is this? Is this the one who loved Sara or Olivia?

@CatLives9 Don't expect to see that. Bruce Wayne's emotion is channelled through Batman's rage. That concept just seems to be too complicated for the average moviegoer to get-but I doubt that will change in Batman 3.

@CatLives9 true

Bale NEEDS to show real emotion like this scene in the Batman films. His Bruce Wayne needs to just let it all out over something because I'm tired of people saying how "dull" Bale is as Batman/Bruce Wayne.

great scene; so moving

this was the most painful part of the movie.

Rebecca Hall is brilliant.
Poor Jess.
This part is excelent show her limit, and how people can be selfish and the hability of destroy another person. It was hard for me the part that she kill herself, but she was on the limit!
Amazing sad movie!
