FOR EVERYONE WHO'S SONGS ARE IN GREY TEXT: What you do is click on your iPod under the devices list. All your information about your iPod should be on the right: It's capacity, it's version, etc. There should be 3 sections: iPod, Version, and Options. Go to Options and make sure the "Manually manage music and videos" box is checked. If thatis checked, you will enable yourself to delete songs through the way the video shows you.
