Well, we've been experimenting with different settings. As far as I know, only the Orion Quartet plays like this. Our last concert we did with 1st, 2nd, cello, viola and we weren't thrilled with the results, so I think we're going back to the setting you see on these videos.

last question: why did you choose this position (1'violin, cello, viola, 2'violin)?? i have never seen it before!! is it common in America?

Hi! We are based in Madison, New Jersey. The first violinist (me) and the violist are originally from Venezuela. The second violinist and the cellist are from New Jersey. Thanks for watching!
