Well, you can't honestly expect a piano of all instruments to crescendo through a breve. It isn't really going to do anything but die.
Please indicate what was specifically messy and why you think so. Also, it wasn't my intention for this performance to have tons of emotive response, because it was intended as a teaching aid for playing from the knuckles, not the wrist.

yur right its not perfect.. romantic composers used rubato and a free style to emmphasize the effects this is too straightforward...melody and phrase my ass i couldnt tell the difference btwn accompaniment and voicing in the major part.
