why is it not the same so are u saying i shouldnt buy a 5 speed that had been swaped and just look for one that is orginally 5 speed casue im looking for a 240 right now and theres one for sale thats been swaped to 5 speed

@UkuleleMusic because the wiring is a bit different for 1 - I am not saying you should not buy one - I am just saying know what your buying. Its usually a better idea to buy one already swapped unless you get a killer deal - 5 speed swaps usually cost around $800-$1k and then the price on the auto car. If the car is already swapped and was done right and everyhting works with no issues - it should be fine.

this is prolly a really dumb question but is there anything bad about buying a 240 that was automatic but now a 5spped cause of the transmission swap.or is it the same as a 240 alrdy with the 5 speed

@UkuleleMusic well really depends on who did the swap really - but no its not the same as a factory 5 speed car.
