Santino is more likely a better worker because of this "conversation" Cornette had with him.

@voteforcanman Much better, and very true. But then again, I did only say the old days, not the good old days.
And you are kinda getting off the subject with the new train of thought. Closer to it is if a new defensive tackle sees the ball carrier coming right towards him... And stands still and does nothing, letting him score unopposed.
Santino's defense was that nobody told him what to do. But as Cornette was pointing out, you don't need to be told to know how to react.

@AdamaGeist Never meant to compare territory days to racism Maybe a better example to you liking in the old days is wrestlers got concussions and ingnored it and now they treat it.
Yes, injuries happen. Imagine a football player messes up a tackle and he goes to the sidline and the coach attacks him.. We are humans we don;t attack other people just because they mess up. Injuries should happen on the field not because my coach is ticked at me.
-
@voteforcanman Okay. First off. Don't compare the territory days to institutionalized racism. Godwining, in any form, is the laziest way to 'I win' an argument.
Second, we're not talking about messing up in an office or restaurant. This is wrestling. That kind of argument is like saying that nobody should expect to get injured playing football. It's where people get paid to smack each-other around. Santino's been slapped plenty of times since in the ring.

@AdamaGeist I am sooo tired of hearing what would happen back in the day. Back in the day this back in the day that. Back in the day there was more racism is that a good thing. Imagine if you messed up at your job and your boss started smacking you around how would you react? Cornette does not get along with anyone

@Rayla840 Russo is a big part of the reason he left. TNA had gold with Cornette there, and they pissed it all away... then again they did that when they released 90% of their talent so they could replace them with Hogan, Hall, Nash, Waltman. Team 3D and allot of otherwise untalented people.

Well, if you worked for years with a man who you hold responsible for the decline of your last alternate place of employment, and get kicked out JUST before they start bringing in more people who you also blame for it's decline, you'd kinda stop having a high opinion of many people where you used to work too.

@swordhunter12 Physical abuse? He slapped the man. This is Wrestling. Slapping is nothing, he was making a point.
In the old days, it'd be settled much easier. Next time Santino wrestled, someone would have broken his damn arm.
I'm with Jimmy here, and personally I think Santino was lucky to get out with just being slapped for Corpesing. If he had been in another related field, acting out of character during a taped broadcast would have gotten his ass FIRED.
Haha. Jim sayin he respects everyone in the company while working with TNA. He sure doesn't say that now days. Especially when it comes to Russo
