Follow the trials and tribulations of the residents of a small back street up north called Mondas Street. Catch up with the comings and goings of such no nonsense folk as Ianj Sharples, a widder woman who lives in the vestry of the local tin mission and has a tongue as sharp as Florrie Lindley's bacon-slicer. Then there's blousy gin-swilling harlot Kajaboy Tanner, who did more for the American troops during the war than Franklin D. Roosevelt. Not to mention such other colourful characters as busty leopard-skin wearing barmaid Bet Nimon, thick-lipped nagbag RobW Tyldsey, Renee Kamelion, and long-suffering husband of curler-headed busybody Hylda, Ed Ogden. There's always something going on in Mondas Street so tune in for more dramas from The North.
