rm001 multitouch table development

My very basic led light plane working with tbeta ps3 eye (tbeta-1.0.1-ps3)

Using 32 940nm LEDs from Digi-key.com

in sets of 8 with a 12ohm resisitor running from a 12v ATX PC power supply

sitting just above a sheet of glass

with 3m rear projection matetrial

playstation 3 eye camera with IR blocker removed

and a 950nm IR filter sat on top

Running tbeta-1.0.1-ps3

Hey, I'm working on making one of these devices, and I can't find any good info about projecting an image onto the screen. It looks like you've got a really nice clear display there, what are you using?

i tried FTIR but could not get strong enough blobs when moving fingers across surface, also i needed to press hard to get strong blobs.

this is a rough proof of concept, using a cheap photo frame with LEDs around the edges

even next to a window on a sunny day the blobs are good and strong

still i was very happy with the LED light plane demo here, just need to start creating some applications now :-)
