We are not boasting 6000 FPM forever. This is a Chevy V8 engine with Geared Drives PSRU in a Wheeler fixed gear, with three people on board and a load of fuel. We had to level off in order not to bust IAH airspace. Still nice climb rate by most people's standards.

But for how long can it maintain 6000 fpm???? A zoomy from high speed can acheive 6000 fpm in many aircraft, for a brief period!

We held 6000 FPM until we had to stop or bust class B airspace...do you know of any piston aircraft 3200# airplanes that can do that?
