  • Excellent as always.

    Interesting points - Best Film nominee "East Lynne" exists but is completely unavailable to the public.

    "Whoopee", nominated for Art Direction and probably Eddie Cantor's best sound film, does exist on DVD. The bad news is that it is only available in the oversized overpriced Hollywood Musicals Collection from Fox/MGM for $500 (60 discs???).

    MGM released "The Goldwyn Follies" separately, why not Whoopie? Are they allergic to money or something.?
