  • I can't imagine Bob Dylan as a child.

  • Im sorry for my comment if you guys took it the wrong way. Bob Dylan is a LEGEND no doubt about it. But soemtimes TO ME it makes no sense. Im only 15, I havent lived long enough to understand how legends talk other than Paul McCartney, & Tom Petty. And apparently Bob Dylan lol. Being a HUGE Petty fan that i am, he (Tom) is more layed back so I didnt understand at the time how stupid I was sounding until you guys cought me on it. Again sorry for my ignorance.

  • lol hes cool

  • As much as I love his music, I don't see why he gives interviews at all when all he does is sit there and be ambiguous and condescending at every turn. I'd much rather him simply not give interviews at all.

  • Bob Dylan was born old like Lao-Tzu

  • @GusF: I think he came out of his mother's womb as a twenty-five-year-old with a head of wild, poofy hair. I cannot and will not accept anything else.

  • My name is dylan i was named after Dylan Thomas, the Poet, Robert Zimmerman called himself Bob DYlan because he was inspired by Dylan Thomas the writer. Hence, Bob DYLAN

  • @Binglung not pissed off, just weary I think- he has been answering that question for almost 50 years.

  • @LintonGypsy he has always denied that- but...

  • @PepperDr94 I haven't read the "scolding" you got- or your original comment yet but I was impressed by this comment- and from a 15 year old even more impressed. Many people respond to criticism with defensivenesws and hanging on to their opinions and beliefs even more tenaciously- often even in the face of facts as we see by the tea=party/republicans over and over)

Your not knowing something you didn't experience is understandable- your apology is admirable and far from ignorant! You are a gem.

  • those were different times. Jews were persecuted and vilified in the US and everywhere else. Many Jewish immigrants changed their names when they first came to the US. Am sure that played a role in Robert Zimmerman's transformation to Bob Dylan when it came to being a performer. Historical context is important here for people to understand.
