No Mac apps, no gimmicks. Procreate is actually drawing at high definition resolution using OpenGL graphics acceleration. Just export to photos, and check out the 1920x1408px size!

the current version of procreate works amazingly well on the first ipad. i may have to get an ipad2 if this program runs faster on it.

Woohoo! I'm assuming this will work for iPad 1 too. If so, then resolution is the biggest complaint I have for iPad painting apps. I love Procreate, but this will make it my de facto paint app.
