This vid took me way too long to make. Too much little editing crap. lol

But as the title states, I'm installing it on my 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX so I can finally almost complete the fuel mods I can start with the DSMLink/ECMLink V3 tuning. This how to for the installation is very straight forward.

The video also depicts good techniques on how to assemble stainless steel braided hose/line for all you -AN fittings which you can appy to push lock applications as well.

The actual adjustment of the AFPR can be found onine on DSMTuners or something but since I haven't compiled Part two, I may include that section.

Since the kit is is almost universal it can be applied to many cars like Honda Toyota Subaru Ford Chevy etc.

Good luck and happy boosting

  • i just got my STM feed and return kit today with my Mini regulator its a badass kit, im enjoying working with the black pro classic lines rather then the staineless lines like i had.

  • @domestickilla STM seems like a good shop. Never had problems with their parts and the free shipping is always nice. I haven't really bought any parts from anybody in the past couple of weeks (which is strange) i think it's because I pretty much have bought every possible bolt on for this money pit.

  • is that the Mini regulator or the regular sized one? i just ordered my fuel feed and return kits from STM and i opted for the mini regulater with -6 feed and returns

  • @domestickilla This is the regular one.

  • I meant to say "AN fitting" not "N fitting" lol

  • hey, thanks for making the vdo man. I always wondered why my car takes more time to start up after i installed the afpr, but now i know. cheers

  • Thanks for taking your time to do this video your helping alot if us first time installers to do the work in the correct way. DSMFTW

  • Nice job...Guy!!! :) Is your DSM a GSX? BTW...what fuel psi is to be set for your car? Sorry, my bad..on Honda at 43psi also :)

  • @saulanibal1 I typed "pressure" and meant "pump". You get it though.

  • @saulanibal1 I have a -6 AN send and return all the way to the tank. All I do is turn the key but not the starter on until the check engine light goes out, turn it off and turn it on again until the CEL goes out... then start it.

That primes your fuel pump twice and I found doing that took care of the extra fuel volume needed to pressurize my fuel system. If you have DSMlink, you can click the fuel pressure relay on in the software so it's on whenever the ECU has power. That would do it.

  • u r rigth it does take a few secunds more to start then the stock fuel pressure regulator any one knows any way to fix it? plz let me know

  • great video, thanks a lot I just installed an evo III 16g on my 97 GS-T, and now I will upgrading my fuel so this videos save me a lot of time and money.
