Man, I was there in 1993 and this brings back soooo many memories. I have pictures of the little girls all over us wanting food and candy. We would stop at the px at south camp and buy them "luxuries". I felt so good giving them the simplest items. I often wonder what there lived turned out to be.That was real poverty and they had no idea that they were poor compared to us.
@sadielu4400 i will never forget the sinai. it was a bit disheartening to watch the kids digging through trash thats filled with completely rotten food, and keep it. there were lots of good times though. the memories and pictures i have will also stay with me.
