@TheTrevelyansway Botany Bay was a port in Australia. The British convicts were allowed to wander free there, which is the reason why the Aborigine race died out.
A few prisoners escaped to China, but not many. You just had to live your life out in Australia.
What's worse is that even if you had served your sentence, you probably would've had to wait for a few extra years for a ship to take you home because they arrived so rarely.

Imagine stealing basic grain to feed your family being caught and sent to prison for life never to see your family again. Wondering till the end whether they survived the famine while you sat in prison. My Lord times can be tough. Governments and authority can be cruel. These are the times that try men's souls.

there is a lot of people singing this beautyfull song,,but no one can do what this little kid does he open hearts, souls, and minds,! the way he sings s! nobody could do what he is doing! absolutely no one! ! maybe one day,,someone put his picture,,just to know him,,and show the world who he is! ! one little among the bigger singer s in the world! ! ! thanks little fella! ! for make people happy and for share what talent life gave to you! ! !
