I attended recruiting school twice. The original visit was in 65 and then again following my return from SEA. I carried the bag for 10 years and was Sector Supervisor and Ops Superintendent for a number of years. I could not have achieved any of it without the training at the recruiting school. I wish the school the best of everything in the future to produce top quality recruiters. I may still have some sweat stained shirts resulting from the labs. God Speed.

Dirt Boys for life! That job is nothing but getting down in the dirt and playing with heavy equipment. NOTHING to do with a desk job, lol.

Training can't be too hard. Just know how to fill in the forms. No need for sales pitches; the AF sells itself like a Ferrari.

For those of you who think the AF is all about desks........do a little more research. I spent 11 years busting my butt on the flightline. I'm now an AF recruiter and that entails even more work. Not as much desk time as you would think.

Ive thought about maybe enlisting myself, but probably not.
most of the air force is exactly what you think, they do desk jobs, repair jobs, flight stuff etc...but the guys that say "chair force" obviously dont know anything about anything other than what they have heard or seen on these stupid youtube videos. believe it or not they go through a 2 months training prep to go over basic infantry skills and hot zone precedures and get shipped off to afghanistan and iraq doing the same jobs as everybody else.

Too bad the negative accounts from someone that most likely couldn't qualify for the Air Force so now they are bitter!!
