Passport 8500 X50 Ka Band

I started picking up Ka signals 6 blocks from where the cops were and had full warning at 4 blocks in city traffic. Not sure why they even had their radar on.

if its on AUTO will it pick up any thing it can find ka ku x and every thing

yes the auto feature will still pick up all bands of radar. it's supposed to reduce false alarms, like annoying X band alerts. not sure how well it works since it still seems to go off just as often. on AUTO K and Ka bands will still be detected as frequently and the device determines the most imminent threat to warn you about. eg. it won't tell you there is x band near by, if Ka is present.

ha ha i just said that cause there was a shooting on that block the weekend before that, and there seemed to be an abundance of cops. if your thinking of getting one of these beware they don't help against laser. i got tagged last night. it went off and worked as its supposed to, but by the time you pick it up, he's already got you.

Its a cheap system, dont mean too knock you for it... anything under 1grand wont get you far with false alarms... accept Beltronics

On interstates what do most cops use? Do highway patrol use lazer? What exactlly is lazer, is that where they stop and use the personal gadget they hold at you? Hit me back peeps

yeah man you can only shift laser, not detect it

yea laser is pretty much unstoppable unless you have a jammer an a V1...i rarely see laser around where i live and drive..thinking bout getting this one or the rx65
