Most of the videos I upload are for language acquisition purpose - most of my clients are already programmed the wrong way when it comes to learning so I decided to use this method, playing/showing them extracts of live interviews and somewhat interesting dialogues/monologues/whatever. This way I as the teacher have absolutely no boredom part during the process so it works for us fine. Sorry folks, it's just the way I use the internet, YouTube especially,

I love what Bill said about the young aspiring journalist and Henry's "just stick to the teleprompter" comment, because I always wondered why some of these pretty women on cable news would talk about something tragic with either a blank expression or a grin on their faces. They seem to just read the teleprompter and have no emotional connection with the stories they deliver. Pretty sad. It's not all bad since some networks hire older people who already have a good reputation in journalism.

@heavenwithin81 I knew you meant you are a Henry Rollins fan, but I got some amusement from the image of you as a huge Henry Rollins. It'd be like little, average Henry (I believe he is 5'9ish) and you walking behind him as 7'+ Henry.

@heavenwithin81 He's like a guy that you normally wouldn't get to hang out with because they're a dickhead jock or something. Maybe like when you were a kid he's like a friend's kinda a-hole older brother that listens to lots of interesting shit and knows lotsa shit, is well read, etc. and doesn't give you the time of day... I'm speculating

@suizidium as an english teacher, I'm happy to see these videos. I was looking for a kind of those in order to I can show to my students, but I'm also a Maher fan and I'd like to see more of this interview, too bad. But thanks for the videos :)
