This is my 2nd Steelers Mock Draft for the up coming 2012 NFL Draft, The Steelers may be picking in the mid to late 20s. So these are some of the athletes that I believe will be available while the Steelers are on the clock. Below is a complete analysis of each pick.

st: CB Chase Minnifield Virginia - The Steelers secondary has been trying to find another, great shut down corner back opposite of Ike Taylor. Minnifield would give the Steelers secondary great speed and great instincts, in which Minnifield has, to use those skills and help Pittsburgh greatly in passing defense. He won't start as a rookie in Dick LeBeau's Zone Blitzing scheme, but will learn and will also make an impact on special teams as a punt/kick return man.

nd: ILB Jerry Franklin Arkansas - With James Farrior most likely to retire after this season, the Steelers need to find another quality Inside Linebacker to replace Farrior. Yes, they do have Stevenson Sylvester, and he may get the starting spot on the 2012 Steelers defense, but this is what the Steelers do best, they bury their draft picks on the depth chart to groove them and make them learn the complicated, but yet successful system that LeBeau has in place.

rd: OG/OT Rokevious Watkins South Carolina - Pittsburgh needs to find a quality offensive lineman who can beef up the line and add some youth. In addition Watkins has played guard, and made the switch to tackle as a senior this year, and Pittsburgh's offensive line coach Sean Kugler loves to make his offensive lineman play multiple positions. So I say Pittsburgh makes a quality pick up here in the 3rd round.

th: FS Trenton Robinson Michigan State - With Ryan Clark getting slower and Ryan Mundy not doing much when he has to step up, the Steelers find a young, athletic and very fast free safety in Robinson. Running a 4.53 and with a 6 foot 2, 210 pound body frame, this seems to be another Steelers-type safety to help out the secondary, and also learn behind Clark and Troy Polamalu.

th: WR B.J. Cunningham Michigan State - With Hines Ward getting older, and looking to retire after this season, it's a no brainier that the Steelers go out and get another young, tall, athletic wide receiver to help big Ben and the offense in the passing game. At 6 foot 2 inches tall and a 215 pound body frame, that'll definitely improve Pittsburgh's passing game down the field, especially with Wallace, Brown and Sanders emerging as all pro receivers.

th: OG Antoine McClain Clemson - The Steelers, yet again pick up another quality, most lesser-known guard in the draft. He has a solid body frame and has been a tremendous run/pass blocker for the Clemson Tigers in the past couple seasons. He'll help the Steelers out by adding more youth, and more chemistry with the other young offensive lineman.

th: TE Anthony Miller California - With the signing of undrafted rookie free agent Weslye Saunders, the Steelers still seem that they need and want a 2nd string tight end, that could be a potential starter. With Anthony's body build similar to Heath's, this seems to be a perfect opportunity for the Steelers to snag up one of college's most under rated tight ends.
