Had this guitar for a while, and I wanted to toss up a quick video for the guys on the agile guitar forums. It's a Silverburst AL-2500 with an EMG 81-85 combo, p-90-sized.

So, the sound is really really bad and the tone sucks, I know. I wasn't running this through my Krank, it was all through Amplitube on my junk PC. It sounds a bit out of tune at the beginning, but that's because of the sucky effect I had running on amplitube metal.

  • Ahh I've been looking all over youtube for a vid of the p81/85

How are they? like, if you ran them through a better amp

  • Well I usually run through my Krank amp, and they are like any other EMG 81/85, just a different shape to fit the p-90 routing

  • Did you have to change anything to the guitar to fit the P81/85's into it? or was is just a HxH guitar?

  • It wasn't an HxH guitar. It was originally routaed for p90s so these dropped right in. If They were regular humbucker cavities, they wouldn't have fit

  • Any complaints about this guitar? I found the same kind and I've been wondering whether or not to buy it. I'm pretty much a begginer at this.

  • You won't regret getting an Agile, that's all I can say

  • Did you just murder someone? The walls don't lie.. Lol nice playing

  • hi i would to ask how are the stock pickups? are they great enough? or maybe should i considere change them with others, planning to get the agile al 2500 goldtop with bigsby.......

  • @TheZepmeister

Sorry it took me so long...yes, the 2500 is Korean. No maple top; it is carved mahogany top with ceramic pick ups. It sounds great.

  • @SonOfAsaph5 Is the 2500 also made in Korea?

  • @carbonxdating The AL2000 has regular wax potted humbuckers, Grovers, Rosewood fingerboard, The 3000 has triple bound body, Type V alnico humbuckers, higher voltage pots for less noise, and ebony fingerboard. The 2000 is still a nice guitar, but the 3000 is very comparable in tone and playability to a Gibson.

  • nice riff

  • speaking of Agiles... is there a big difference in sound between the 2000 and the 3000? or is it just the looks/hardware that make the 3000 more pricey?

    Sad but True!

    Also, great demo vid.

  • Tell you what...got my white 2500 lp with a bigsby for 200 bucks, and DAMN it is a sweet guitar. clean or distorted..you CANNOT go wrong with an Agile, take my word for it.

Sure, it's not a Gibson, but I also saved me about 1800 dollars!

Go to Rondo Music and check them out. Those S. Koreans know what they're doing!

  • They are made better than my Epiphones and some of the Gibsons ive played. My Agile Dauntless is even better than my Jackson Kelly KE3!
