Congratulations on your winnings,good job! Same here, I don't know what the judges are looking for in a kata when performed in a competition but I do believe that they must choose female and male winners,I'm guessing. Yes,Judges need to keep a closer eye on strikes because it could cost a good "fighter" the trophy,you've pointed that out clearly. Finally,I don't know what it takes to convince judges because I've seen great performances end up in a disappointment. Keep up your good and hard work.

Dragonkickdude, what is your point? What ever your point may be, and if you feel you have proven your point, stop already and be satisfied with it. Beyond that is a senseless contention. ok i did exactly what you told me and googled mattera and gues what. No zen, 2 man fist is an Ed Parker form that Grandmaster Fred Villari learned From Ed When Nick Cerio took him in 1968. Did ussd tell you that it's shaolin?

USSD teaches a variation of Adriano Emperado's kenpo system "Kajukenbo" which is influenced mostly by Japanese Karate. The student forms that are taught are actually variations of the pinan's and kata's found in most Karate traditions. As for USSD's connection with anything "Shaolin" I would say that the link is at the very best a spiritual one, and at the worst a dishonest marketing gimmick.

and btw dragondudkick I know for a fact that 2 man fist set is true shaolin because I have also studied hungar and they have many veriations of 2 man and 1 of their most basic was almost an exact match. So yes ussd does teach shaolin, they do teach japanese and the style is modified to fit the needs of americans. sry about you being mad over your deficiancies but you just dont know USSD as well as you think you do and the slander needs to stop

lol thats right student forms are not shaolin. in facted they are more modified shotokan forms and you hardly learn any shaolin till your black belt but u sound like you where never good enough to learn shaolin in the first place you so lack the disciplin for it and your probably crying over it by spamming slander on all these pages
