Brother, you failed to mention the difference in libido between wives and husbands that lead to many divorces . Of course marriage makes you a better Muslim since you have a spouse who completes your human needs . Allah created us with necessarily needs such as sex. Also thanks to sex that human life continues and this is Allah's design to continue human life on earth . We can NOT compare our prophet in marriages because he had 4 wives . Most Muslims have one wife . Salam brother .Jazaka Allah.
