One of the worst endings I ever saw was a game called Ninja that was on many PC platfors in the mid 1980s. The game itself was half decent considering it was a budget title and the music was pretty awesome for it's time (How could you go wrong with Rob Hubbard?). But the ending was terrible. After you won, all you got was a flashing border, the ninja jumping up and down, and the word winner on the bottom of the screen, then the game would just restart.
