Casey Jones, widow of a municipal worker killed on the job in Daytona Beach, Florida, testifies at a Workforce Protections subcommittee hearing on OSHA Coverage for state and local employees on May 24, 2007.
Very sad! I am so sorry for the loss of your husband.
I was told by someone at work that although our Company is pushing OSHA rules, that Florida is not an OSHA state. Can anyone confirm this one way or the other? Or give me a link to read up on it? Thanks!
p.s he was a city worker. city, state and federal GOV does not follow OSHA regulations, but that may change soon
