A Spoken Word (I wanna...) - Original

Seabass.

I wanna see the face of the girl that I dream about every night/ 'Cause just the sight of you in my mind ain't near enough for me/ See, when the light hits your eyes, my heart rate rises/ It jumps and dives in my chest going up and down and side to side/ And it's hard to contain the excitement inside/ See, I try and try but by and by, the thought of you comes up/ But I just can't pass you up because I just can't get enough/ And so, the solution is: I need to see this beautiful thing and bring her into my life/ And I can try but getting to you is like a magnet attracting a piece of metal but with something in-between/ like a king wanting to bring a princess from "the highest room of the tallest tower" and make her his queen/ See, but I'm willing to go the distance cuz "I know every mile will be worth my while"/ And all the while I sing of you, the inspiration to all that is true/ It's all I can do 'till I can get to you and my, I hope it's soon/ I wish the time would come sooner when it's everyday I can say I love you/ I wish I can spend all day hand in hand with you/ See, every minute that passes and I'm without you, I'm not really living/ And here's the thing, my heart only beats in the midst of your presence/ And fast like a child's on Christmas when surrounded by presents/ And only then is when every bit of me comes alive to this perfect ten/ And only then is when I begin to get light headed and my legs give in/ But I know she is missed, so I thank God for this angel that he sent/ 'Cause I know the raindrops coming from up high are really tears of lament/ Other girls must be from heaven if they're as beautiful as you are/ And from afar, I can see you're radiance if full motion/ even better than the super nova of a star/ See, you glow bright like that light in the sky/ And at night a star for every sight that you steal/ And like steel is my gaze when you are right in front of it...unbreakable/ Now, I don't want anything right now but to make you my love/ So we can fly high up above, together like two turtle doves/ Making their way far and long into that bright blinding bronze/ Destined to fly forever into infinity and beyond.
