Oberheim TVS-1 Two Voice Synthesizer Demo

A demo of another classic synth. I made a simple pattern on the 303 to trigger SEM #2 via CV/Gate while I play a bass sound with SEM #1. I you listen in stereo (might have to add "&fmt=18" without quotes to the end of the URL), the TVS-1 will be in the left channel and the TR-606 in the right.

could have gotten one of these for 400 in 1996 in seattle now ill be bidding 4 times that amount for one on ebay- ahh time machines- where are you when i need one?

@salvadory 4x$400!?! Um, try 8x$400. The last one on eBay sold for $3500, though it did have the sequencer. Keep looking, you may find a deal on one. I got a great deal on mine 3 years ago.

@1980sCoverband The "snaggletooth keys" is common with synths with Pratt-Read keyboards. I've got a SCI ProOne that looks worse. It's a pretty simple fix that can be done while replacing the rubber bushings.

@jcarterize I scored a Wave 2.2 a month ago and still learning my way around it. The manual leaves out A LOT. Be sure to subscribe to be notified of new videos as I will deffinately make a video of the 2.2. The 2.3 still isn't working and I need a PPG buss cable to interface the EVU properly.

@zibbybone i meant to say 10 times that amount or $4000 which i wont pay- never was good at math! yeah- in the early 90s me and my brother hit every pawn shop on the west coast- selling gear overseas long before ebay- if only i had some of the things we sold including a matrix ob-12- orig 909s 808 303s(which you could buy for about 75-140) arps(alot of those) korg ms-20s( bought one for 100$ at an estate sale in 1993- - ahh just thinking about it drives me crazy- but we did make good profit
