My guess: Agriculture enables a lot of poorly fed humans to subsist and procreate. A lot of big-family immigrant groups (Mexicans included) come directly from agricultural communities in their home countries. Those additional hands (paid only in wages of subsistence), help make a family farm stay afloat. To raise a child to the high standards of western civilization's is an expensive luxury - and thus birth rates tend to be lower.

Mexicans have so many kids so they can use them for anchor babies (citizenship) and collect food stamps, well fair, and every other government assistance they can get. Its fucking rediculous. They cost American citizens a trillion dollars a year and have for 12 years now

I also wanted to add, that many multicultural countries practice English as only a de facto language. This includes Australia, the UK, Australia, Japan, New Zealand. A multicultural society allows this because of the multitude of cultures in one country. If you want a country nearby that has English as an established language, try Puerto Rico.....although, they may scold you for not knowing Spanish, since both Spanish and English is their established language.

(Continued) It takes time to learn. The transition to Spanish to English is difficult. You don't know that they aren't trying, for all you know they could and are still learning. I'd like to see you try to learn a language over night, maybe you would have more compassion for your fellow human being. English is only the (de facto) language of the USA, so it's not it's official language. The USA actually has no de jure official national language.
