If the name "Gram River" is boring enough wait until you check out Mars Day Break. In the video I made a comment about everything being average that is in this show, like literally everything. Animation, Story, Character Development, Direction, Art Style, Voice Acting, Soundtrack, Backgrounds, Action Scenes and more. Not to mention that the Captain on the pirate ship is way to manly.

Personally I think your review is half hearted. I seen ALOT of mecha animes and I found this one to be alot better and definetly more origional than everything else I seen. Yes I won't deny there is plot holes and some things are better off without. But what I find seperates this from most other mechas is it's alot less depressing of a story. And Gram is a character I'd much rather see compared to alot of other protagonists from other mecha animes.

The only really annoying thing about this show is "WHERE THE FUG DID YO MECHA COME FROM???"

I mean it comes from nowhere. No information on who made it, where it came from...nothing. Until the very ending they never ever say where it came from. It just randomly appears because Gram has that necklace wtf fail. -_-

This review was uninspired. The summary of the plot was boring, your description of the characters was boring. The fact that you said it's like every other anime, yet your point being that the MacGuffin was similar to another anime, doesn't really back up your point.

Overall, this is an uninspired review, it was boring. I'll have to give this a negative review. I wouldn't recommend this review.

Worst. Nutshelling. Ever. You left out a lot of major plot points in your little synopsis. I guess that's why viewers don't question your reviews without watching it themselves.

Worst. Generalizing. Ever. You compare the show to everything that came before it despite it being its own entity. You can't call yourself "Mr. Anime" if all Anime looks alike to you.

Show's are meant to entertain viewers. Inspiration is a by-product of entertainment. You know nothing about either :)

i agree the openings and closing r not special but so is all the rest i watched it and enjoyed it Poipoider wasn't much a interesting character but i liked gram specially because johnny yong bosch voiced him he wasn't much of a specially good fighter but he wasn't a boring character not too much of the others
