Here's me emulating Brawl on Dolphin build R4700M.
My system isn't amazing, and I lost a considerable number of frames to the screen capture process, but I still find this all to be very impressive.

Here's my system spec:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 @3.00GHz
3.25gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD4850
Windows 7 32 Bit

Mind you that 64bit builds of Dolphin supposedly run much faster.
Of interesting note, because Lucario's hands have a constant glow of aura, simply being on screen causes slow-down.

By the way, the game is in Japanese because I ripped the ISO from my import copy of the game.

Edit: I've tried Build R4707M since then, and it's much faster.

  • Now that's a good emulation. Reminds me of Project 64's SSB Emulation. Also, I noticed that the "echo" effec isn't loading in your vid, which makes Lucas' PK Starstorm sound... anti-climactic and jarring...

  • The emulator doesn't seem to do the echo effect properly, although on character select it was over the top anyway.

  • how u got the jap version working

  • Dumped the ISO using Wii USB Loader, and well, it just works.

It didn't work in the last build I tried but it worked fine in build R4700M, dunno why.

  • is this ntsc jap

  • There are also 3rd party ones?

Cool I'll check it out when the 360 is starting to bore me :P

  • They're not that expensive, you don't have to use a brand-name one either.

I got one for like, £12 somewhere I think.

I don't use it though, my wifi works fine for wii.

  • Tested a revision once, didn't start up ISOs :(. sometimes I browse the forums for one yeah. but this one I got from the frontpage works very well If those LAN adapters for the Wii weren't so expensive, like the Wifi adapter for the Xbox, I'd buy one :S.

  • Not really, I practically jumped off the stage at one point.

  • good battle,very good^^
