The Tango is creating extraordinary opportunities for children with special needs, their families, and their support staff. All video footage is completely unrehearsed and shot by parents. It's real life. Real communication.

  • The woman IS speaking to her like a baby

I can't stand when 'special needs assistants' or whatever speak to disabled people in a 'baby voice'...

  • @BuyYourselfABookOr3 i think it's important that you use a friendly encouraging voice, but if she's saying that.. then i guess her 'helper' indeed should change her tone of voice

  • I know. I can't either. and, what I also can't stand is when they are mean to the kids when they don't do something the teacher doesn't get what they what. my friend Amanda had cerebral palsy, she couldn't talk or walk, the only thing she could say was ''coo-coo" and one of the teachers in the class was really mean to her whenever she got upset about something and started crying and throwing a fit. I got mad when she did that. Amanda had no other way to say what was wrong. it wasn't her fault!

  • i like this black tango. do they sell these in UK yet with an adult vocab?

Its great for progressive conditions as you can use either touchscreen or add a switch and more portable than big tablet computer to carry everywhere.
