A trip on the Trans-Siberian railroad from Beijing, China to Moscow, Russia (via the Trans-Mongolian route), with Intrepid Travel (http://www.intrepidtravel.com/) in September 2008.

This video is of Red Square (Красная площадь) in Moscow, Russia, both at night and in the morning. Moscow was our second to last stop, before finishing in St. Petersburg. We arrived in Moscow on 2008-09-28. The brightly lit building to the left (east side of the square) is the GUM Department Store, actually a shopping mall featuring many luxury brands. The red building to the right (north end of the square) is the State Historical Museum. The Kremlin and the Lenin's Mausoleum are on the right (west side of the square). Last but not least, the elaborate brightly-domed St. Basil's Cathedral sits at the south end of the square.
