Quick, who was Jimmy Carter's vice president? Dont remember? It was Walter Mondale, the understated and earnest Midwesterner who spent his life as a servant of the public. Fritz tells the story of Mondales personal life and public legacy, featuring rare archival footage, family films and interviews with President Carter, Vice President Al Gore, Geraldine Ferraro (his running mate in the 1984 presidential election), family and friends. This film reveals a man who never wavered in his commitment to civil and human rights, and a man who stayed grounded in his Minnesota roots. Along the way, he changed the role of vice president, selected the first female vice presidential candidate in history and became a living example of what a true public servant looks like. Narrated by Walter Mondales daughter, Eleanor Mondale. More information about this film can be found at www.mondalefilm.org
This truely is a great clip, he and Jimmy Carter were truly for the people, even though the lost in landslide victories, Mondale, was not only a politician, but a true friend of all.

I loved this little clip I think that he really cares and always has cared for the American people and respected their needs and views I think that it was a huge mistake that he picked Ferraro for his VP but with that said he still is one of the greatest leaders this nation has ever had Jimmy Carter should have learned a little more from Fritz!
