1. Weight too much over toes at address - weight should be in the middle of the feet, sit slightly more into heels, this should also bring your club closer to your body, butt of club should be just about over toes, look at woods at address.

2. Hips and chest start takeaway together, butt of club should track quite close to right thigh and still be pointing at chest until past right thigh. Don't lift club with arms, turn it away wih chest and hips.

3. Maintain flex in right leg and maintain spine angle. This coupled with your initial turn with chest and hips (not by lifting arms) should stop your arms going so high.

DRILLS

get in your golf posture and swing with your head against a wall, if you move away from the wall check if your weight is in middle of feet. also head should never move up in the swing until way after impact.

drill for early extenstion. if you get your balance right, maintain knee flex and spine angle and get therefore get your hands deeper, this should be easy.
