Great video. I'm a huge fan of Megumi Fujii, who isn't right? But, I remember watching her fight and she would have the AACC logo on her shorts, and I use to wonder what that was. Once I found out what it was, and what the gym was about, the people, the work ethic, even just the look of it, I was instantly in love with the place. I have plans to visit Japan in the future, and the Abe Ani Combat Club is definitely on my list of places to visit.
I train there regulary and it is a great atmosphere. Everyone is friendly, no egos, no one trying to really hurt each other and a great mix of personalities. I have trained a fair few places around quite a lot of countries and found the atmosphere sometimes intimidating! Most clubs in Japan are about technique and self developement and not proving you are a badass. I really recommend training there even if you are just visiting there is a great value 2 week pass.
Very nice video, I like the mood ! They all seem very involved in what they do, and the way they speak about it tells us a lot about who they are, their values and their culture. Great job !
I'd love to train here some day.
