Many Americans are asking themselves if college is worth it, as more and more graduates find themselves unable to get a job, and saddled with debt. Peter Thiel, co-founder of PayPal, started a two million dollar fund that gives students who drop out 100,000 dollars to work on projects that could be breakthroughs in technology and science. Attorney Gennady Litvin, weighs in.
I agree on principle with him of going to a state local school but, the problem is, state local schools are already backlogged. I myself tried to re-enroll in my college only to be turned away by the counselor who said that Sac State is not taking in any students for the semester and next semester either. They are booked up. His advice is just too simplistic.

This guy criticizes the value of going to college then changes his mind and says going to college is a good investment! Make up your mind! He isn't particularly bright and has a confusing message.

So the real reason to go to college is actually for the EDUCATION. Not just the "expirience" of binge-drinking and partying, failing out after not learning anything then owing back all of that wasted money... Huh, strange. Somehow the education system isn't whats wrong here. It's that a large portion of college students don't take it seriously enough to care about getting a quality education. That's the reality. Though I will admit a small number of graduates still have issues getting jobs...

@skuloop What was their major? Half the college students who can't find work probably major in something that is worthless. It all depends on your major

@CollegeReform Colleges do need lower the tuition rate. This has been problem with grads long before the economy went bad. Students are taking out college loans and majoring in something that is worthless. I got my associate degree theater and I wanted to take out a student loan but my parents talk me out of it. I paid for my college education out of pocket with my parents help. Thank god my parents talked me out of it otherwise I would have been in debt.
