Mark Wahlberg already told Leonardo DiCaprio that the "Twilight Saga" star has put them out of a job, and it's about time that the Sylvester Stallones and Bruce Willis's of the world get the clue as well as a new action hero is born. Lautner's upcoming flick "Abduction" is looking like it's going to be the action movie for the new generation, and it's the 19-year-old's badass physicality that makes the film something to look forward to.
"Taylor's not only a really fabulous actor, he's also a gifted athlete," "Abduction" costar Jason Isaacs said in a recently released featurette about the movie. "He could take the entire crew with his hands tied behind his back."

Like he did in the "Twilight" movies, Lautner jumped on the opportunity to film his own stunts in "Abduction." The one sequence that has been shown over and over again in the flick's trailers and TV spots is when Lautner slides down a giant glass wall at a Pittsburgh Pirates game, and this featurette explained why: Lautner did that stunt himself.

"It was actually made up on the fly. It was never in an original script," Lautner said. "It was fun. I was going fast. It was great."

The behind-the-scenes video showed Lautner filming the scene, and from where we're sitting it looked like there were very few wires actually holding him in place. It makes sense that the ballsy stunt is at the center of the flick's marketing. There's not a lot of extra footage in the featurette from the film, but the new stuff all showcases just how badass Lautner looks in this movie. Fans might love Lautner because of his heartthrob role in the "Twilight" movies, but what we've seen of "Abduction" so far shows that he is all grown up and ready to kick ass this time around.
