I respect both Collins and Dawkins. Maher is an ashole, when Dawkins made his interviews with christians for his docs he was amazingly pacient and polite. I was blown away by it.

Well at least Christians more often than not are civil. I also think many atheists criticize what they do not understand(God) whereas Christians criticize what they do understand and have experienced(skepticism, doubt and atheism).

The only thing christians understand just like every other man made belief is that their god is better than anyone elses.

Well, I commit myself to truth. I'm not going to belief in a multitude of different gods and religions just because it feels good and easy to do so. Only one can be correct because they all make contradictory and incompatible claims. Atheism is a religious worldview as well I might add. It answers no to the 4 big questions of existence that everything else tries to answer.
