I am a Brother of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. Yes there is secret ritual that cannot be disclosed and our induction process is no joking matter. At the same time we do not condone these actions. We do not condone the abuse of alcohol and our process is actually a dry (no alcohol) one. We are an organization that aspires to build men, not break them.

@kk I fit in just fine prior to joining my fraternity. I don't see the logic in your comment. Have you ever noticed that its usually the people who already fit in who join the fraternities? Just saying, you have to mingle and make contact with certain people to even be accepted as a pledge in the first place, so you wouldn't see many outsiders joining fraternities. Plus being a fraternal insider I know the mission of these organizations, especially my own and we do much more than get attention.

@smurfigee Fraternities predate gangs. Many Fraternities are older than the oldest modern day organized gangs by at least 50 years. So in any comparison you'd have to say gangs are just like fraternities, which would be a lie considering the differences would outweigh the similarities. So there is technically no effective way to compare fraternities to gangs.

Fraternities are not stupid. There is more than partying in fraternities, forget what you have seen on movies. They teach organization, dedication, and respect. Also 87% of the CEO's from the top the Fortune 100 companies were fraternity members, and in case that math is just too hard for your hate harboring selves 87 out of 100. Not to mention the numerous presidents and members of our Government. Plus just to be fair and PC don't call it a frat, it is disrespectful, I wouldn't call you a fag.

It is funny that you GDI's give fraternities shit 24/7 and we can't say anything. People die all the time, stop attacking an isolated incident and overshadowing the entire fraternal order with your slanderous filth. Any organized activity or organization has bad things happen that are frowned upon. Its not fair to say every fraternity is the same. DON'T STEREOTYPE, unless you want me to point out that you live with your mother, play video games 24/7, have never been laid, and overweight.
