The Ultima is lighter than the ZR1 and has just as much horsepower. Around the Top Gear test track, it was five seconds faster than the Koniegsegg CCX and seven seconds faster than the Enzo.

It also has no power steering (or power anything for that matter), no traction control, no stability control, and requires rather a lot of mainetnance. Furthermore, it's sold as a kit car; you supply your own engine and transmission.

Wow! It's so easy to lose perspective in this video and forget how fast a Corvette is. Those Ultimas are blisteringly quick in a straight line, but possibly even better round corners.

the fastest streetlegal car on this planet is a C2 Stingray Corvette which ran a best of 6.57 (USA)

and another streetlegal 6.8´s car is a old opel with a twincharged 9L chevy big block developing 2000Bhp built by a transmission specialist (in england)
