The Alpine Butterfly Knot.wmv

What I thought was a new way to tie the Alpine Butterfly Knot. I developed this method years ago when climbing in the alps. I have never seen anyone else tie it this way so thought I would share it. But once uploaded i found other poeple tying it this way too... ! Will still share anyway!

I too discovered this method of tying several years ago. I've called it the "Hybrid Method", using ONE wrap and ONE twist to tie the knot.

It is my hope that more people will come to appreciate the Alpine Butterfly Knot as a direct result of this quick and "user friendly" way of tying it.
