A clip of my New Zealand spec 1985 Nissan Laurel 2.4GL stock exhaust sound. Factory fitted with the L24 single carb engine and done 445,000km. NZ sold Laurels had carb engines instead of EFI like the rest of the world. Have always loved the sound of a Nissan/Datsun six.

  • what kind of towbar is that?? don't tell me that can pull more than 500kg

  • @PerChr86

Not sure, looks to be one designed by an engineer for the car. New Zealand sold Laurel had big bumpers compared to the JDM and European models so would have been made here. Im guessing it will have a 500kg unbraked or ? braked loading

  • nice sound!a very beautiful and elegant car!

in original design, and not tuned up with new wheels,....

Thanks for the comments. Its all completely original, other than the LPG installation, and 1 missing hubcap, which im having trouble trying to replace. Its even a factory 5 speed manual, which were pretty rare here as most were auto. The second owners had it for 19yrs and did near on 400,000km.

  • @SpeedFreakNO I've had mine for a month now, and I love it :D I'll try to get a recording of it while playing on the snow. The sound is awesome!

  • sounds much more nicer than some mercedes, BMW or some sports car.

this car is a special mixture of american design and japanese influence -i think-

    fantastic!

think the diesel engine has a litlle bit to less horse power . yours is perfect..-
