To add more decoration to your set Thanksgiving table, you can add centerpieces to the table to make your guests feel extra special. In this video, Williams-Sonoma product expert Katie shares with you a few ideas about adding centerpieces to your Thanksgiving table.
It is important to keep your Thanksgiving centerpieces simple so that they can easily fit on the table and facilitate conversations and the passing of food. Katie suggests making centerpieces that add more color to the table and complement the mood of the season. A beautiful centerpiece provides a focal point for the table. Keep the centerpiece natural and uncomplicated; anything from a floral bloom to an heirloom bowl filled with seasonal fruits and vegetables can set the right mood.
Katie has designed two centerpieces for her Thanksgiving table made of flowers, branches and leaves. She placed some fresh fruits from the backyard and some nuts to give her centerpiece a seasonal touch. The addition of scented candles can lend a warm feeling to the Thanksgiving occasion.
In order to add a more personalized touch to the Thanksgiving table, Katie has fashioned name cards out of fresh fruits with ribbons to make the Thanksgiving dinner a truly memorable event.
