@DEFENDER6100 THEN Gorea broadcasted a signal to all the hunters we see in-game to attract them to his position, promising a great treasure in return, the treasure actualy being the Omega Canon. When the hunters learned that they were fooled, they teamed up against Gorea but all got killed resulting in Gorea taking their weapons. Then Samus came and beated the crap out of him using the Omega Canon.

For the rest I will tell you what I know. Gorea was a gaseous life form that arrived to the Alymbic home planet on a meteorite. It imediatly sarted wrecking havoc so the Alymbics tried to fight him. But Gorea simply copied the Alymbic physical appearence and weaponry to use it against its creators. The Alymbics were forced to imprison him in the seal sphere on the oubliete prison ship.

took me an hour and a half to fight georea first time, i was using every weapon like "WHY WONT YOU DIE!!!" i never thought to use the energy cannon as it was at the time (in my opinion) the weakest weapon.

Gorea REALLY reminds me of Miracle matter from Kirby 64, they both change forms depending on type used and weakness and are only effected by 1 weapon type, while as it's 2nd Forme reminds me of 02, as they both are only effected by 1 weapon throughout the stage. *Phase 2 to me was a sorry-ass excuse, too easy, not as challanging as the first forme. At least the music made up for the battle...*
