yep, it's 'cleaner' and each note is more distinct, also you don't have the fans over the top of it

yes, older ICE1/2 stock use similar electronics to this; ICE3 is more modern and ICE-T is quieter; ICE-VT is diesel and totally different

thats all true, but still: the frequencies can be varied (if there is only little torque required the variation can be very wide). And the frequencies are of course chosen deliberately; if not the 1016 would not play a perfect c-sharp scale.

When engines are speeding, the inverters are changing the frecuency. First, the frecuency is low and progressively increases. When the frecuency increases the sound is sharper.
Thus, the engine develops more torque for low speed and progresively develops more power. V-I control fundaments. Although surely this implemented vector control.
