I was heartbroken to learn that Sonya Spence, a school teacher and singer passed away at the age of 54 in 2007 and laid to rest on Saturday 17th Feb. 2007 at the Poughden Church of God of Prophecy in South Manchester, Jamaica. R.I.P Sonya the Great! I grew up listening to her wonderful tunes in West Africa in the early 80s!
