  • Theres a big difference between Acne & Acne scars. Although embarassing to some if it 's not red, inflamed etc, simply scar tissue that 's no problem for me. If errupted skin this falls under Contraindications. "Do not touch areas of skin where pathological condition that is contageous or may be worsened/ spread by applying pressure or rubbing.,Since we can't diagnose by law whose to say it is Acne, could be Impetigo or Blood Poisening Circulatory massage'll spread it thru Lympth...Lawsuit

  • I've heard somewhere that in such cases face massage can do more harm than good.. I'd explain it to a client

  • I know myself, I wouldn't want my face massaged at all with acne. The pimples could spread very easily if accidentally popped. Plus, they could bleed as well..

  • I would imagine that the pressure could damage the vessels bellow the blockage and worsen the condition. I read something like that as being one of the dangers of popping.
