@jbarrick yep, well put. He's pathetic obviously. Met him & he seemed quite nice in a clueless, gormless sort of way. Astonishing that he could ever end up on a stage having a go at music in front of an audience. Check out Rickie Lee Jones version on youtube, it's exquisite.

Good idea to wear a tea-cosy - stop his brain leak. Great band sound, good for the song but he is a moronic individual. Voice range cannot match the song however I think he was just trying to state what a great song it is and to indulge the moment.

@fek2000 Actually, checking them, out, Alan Merril, Niko Stautmeister, Southside Johnny, The Arrows, and the Blades of Grass all did halfway decent at covers too.

Sorry - I appreciate his love of this beautiful song, and I agree with his opinion of it, BUT, given his vocal limitations, they need to figure out how to pull this off with a touch of dignity before attempting another live train-wreck.
