Yep, indeed. Sketchbook Pro for the linework, Photoshop for colouring, about 3 hours including the bit I didn't show at the start.

The Audioswap finally worked (damn you Youtube!) but if you've got it play Closer by NIN in the background instead. It's the perfect length and surprisingly suitable . . .

Luke, pardon my ignorance, but i don't know what happens at 1:36 here and i'm dying to understand, it looks like you manage to select all of the background or all of the figure. what's going on there, why do you do it?

@WSLaFleur Yep, that's basically what I do - nothing fancy, I just make sure that my linework has a hard edge around it and use the magic wand.

is there any lag on your tablet? I know there's quite a bit on mine...

@hellzbomber No, I've never had a problem with lag on my tablet, except if I happen to be working on a really huge piece with complicated brushes or something.

let me ask you what program did you use to make this and did you have to make any sketches before you performed the actual drawing?

@sabreface10 It's drawn in Sketchbook Pro, and yeah, there is a very light rough underdrawing that I'm working over for the linework, and I coloured it in photoshop.

This is the first speed paint I've seen done by someone like yourself, working at Blizzard Entertainment, wich I respect over all game companies for this high amount of quallity and skill among the employees.

I see you change from program to program during your work. How would you explain the benefit from each programs you're using?
