This wasn't a big hit for Elvis. I guess it sounded too movie soundtrack for radio. But it remains one of my favorites. I spent a lot of Saturdays at the matinees watching Elvis movies with my best friend Karen, for a quarter.

This is Elvis as I like to remember him, sharp, suave and handsome. Can someone explain why most Elvis impersonators prefer to impersonate the fat, bloated Elvis in those ridiculous jumpsuits instead of Elvis as he looked in this video?

I appreciated the more adult-ness of the entire film to an extent (even though I enjoy watching his '60's fluff too), but the whole psychedelic dream scene starting with the guy in the wacko dog costume was just weird. The songs are good though - this one is my favorite.
