@10frankie17 The argument of weather the Christian can obtain perfection like Christ is an old discussion. One camp say yes, but can quickly become legalistic, the second camp says no, and it can often become lawless. Both sides are wrong. God can make us perfect in our sphere as Jesus was in His sphere. Only He can give us supernatural power to walk as Christ walked. We will always be forgiven sinners, but God will is that we remain in Christ and as such it is our choice.

I don't know anything about the singer; however, I love this song. She did an amazing job on this song. Reading some of the comments posted here makes me give God even more glory that He is a gracious God. @shiphrahhopeful Whatever Sandi's short comings and failures are, this song is clearly blessed by the Lord. Christians are saved, not perfect.
Same applies to Amy Grant, and all the great songs she made before falling.

@mykylc Remember, like the religious leaders in the Bible, there are true believers and false .... those that are true Christians and those who merely call themselves Christian >>> following man-made religious dogma and unwilling to see the truth before them .... unwilling to accept Jesus was the Messiah.
It is easy discern a true Christian from a false Christian. So don't go putting us all in the same basket.

People need to stop hating and judging! If her personal life is a stumbling block and you can't be ministered to by her singing, then no one is forcing you to listen!
